Outside my window ~ the sun is shining &
the birds are singing

I am thinking ~ that we are so blessed to
have our freedom and to be able to live in
the home of of our dreams

From the learning room ~ home economics

I am thankful for ~ my husband, our Church,
for GOD'S unfailing Word, our friend's, the favor of GOD,
for GOD'S perfect timing, our freedom, our military,
for my 5 senses

From the kitchen ~ grilled steaks, shrimp & roasted
ear corn

I am wearing ~ light blue t-shirt w/ blue & cream plaid
capri pants

I am reading ~ The Bible, Mother Earth News,
Hobby Farm Home

I am hoping ~ that we never loose sight of the things
that really count in our lives

I am creating ~ a list of things I need to do before the
weekend

I am hearing ~ Hubby breathing (he's still sleeping)

vacuuming the carpet rugs

From the learning room ~ Passover study

I am thankful for ~ my husband, our Church,
for GOD'S unfailing Word, our friend's, the favor of GOD,
for GOD'S perfect timing

From the kitchen ~ quick fix meals this week

I am wearing ~ shorts, t-shirt & tennis shoes

I am hoping ~ that many lives will be changed and
touched because of the message of our Savior this
Easter

for GOD'S unfailing Word, that what the Bible says
are promises to us are actually prophecy to HIM

Outside my window ~ the dawn of a glorious new day

I am thinking ~ that I feel relieved to have some of the
stress lifted off our shoulders

From the learning room ~ each day as I journey
through the steps of the "Love Dare" I am opening myself
up to loving my husband more than I already do

I am thankful for ~ my husband's unfailing love

From the kitchen ~ spaghetti squash & pasta gravy
(I didn't get time to make it last week)

I am wearing ~ a garment of praise

I am reading ~ The Love Dare, the Bible & the newest
Country Woman magazine

I am hoping ~ for a time of rest for both my hubby &
myself

I am creating ~ goals for myself on how to
be the best wife I can be for my hubby

I am hearing ~ the clicking of my keyboard as I type

Around the house ~ laundry, cleaning out the icebox,
straightening the desk, polishing the dining room furniture

One of my favorite things ~ is knowing that regardless of
my self induced insecurities, my husband is madly
in love with me and always has been

A few plans for the rest of the week ~ doing
alterations on 3 costumes for our Church's Easter
play that I did not get time to do last week,
spending some quiet time in prayer

Outside my window ~ tons of finches out
in the yard and the wonderful sight of our
garden

I am thinking ~ that I am really glad that
I decided to take the Love Dare

I am thankful for ~ my Husband, my salvation
and the support of our Church family & friends

dusting, watering all the plants

Dr. Pepper from Sonic during happy hour

A few plans for the rest of the week ~ doing
alterations on 3 costumes for our Church's Easter play
and play practice are 2 of the big things on my agenda,
running errands, getting new registration tags for one of
the vehicles

For today...

Outside my window ~ is the beautiful sight of our
freshly tilled garden area

I am thinking ~ that we used to celebrate Washington's
b-day & Lincoln's b-day...now they have done a mass
collection and rolled them all into one 'holiday'..why?

I am thankful for ~ the great time I had with my Hubby
this weekend; even though he had to work both
Saturday & Sunday

From the kitchen ~ homemade strawberry jam

I am wearing ~ jeans & a light blue t-shirt

I am reading ~ the current issue of "Mother Earth News"

I am hoping ~ that we will be able to buy a piece of
property we have our eye on

I am creating ~ a list of things that I want to get taken
care of this week

I am hearing ~ the sound of my Hubby hooking up
the blue-ray player to the t.v. in the family room

Around the house ~ Washing the bed linens, cleaning
the master bathroom, organizing the spare bedroom
closet

One of my favorite things ~ is solitude, peace & quiet

A few plans for the rest of the week ~ calling
our Realtor about the property we are interested in,
making a dental appointment, searching the internet to
make vacation reservations for this summer

For today...

Outside my window ~ is the dawn of a new day

I am thinking ~ about a phone call I received today
from an old friend announcing that she is getting married

I am thankful for ~ the love of my family,
my mother (today is her birthday in fact)

From the kitchen ~ chicken breasts & veggies

I am wearing ~ a joyous smile on my face

I am reading ~ several gardening books,
Genesis, a few decorating magazines

I am hoping ~ that my new eyeglasses come in
this week (yes, I am one of those that don't like waiting.)

I am creating ~ a vast collection of music downloads
for my MP3 player to listen to while I clean house.

I am hearing ~ the meow of one of our
well privileged cats

Around the house ~ love is in the air

One of my favorite things ~are the
new lamps we bought this weekend for the
family room & dining room buffet

A few plans for the rest of the week ~
volunteering at our local blood drive
(what better way to celebrate Valentine's than with the
gift of blood), helping my dear husband cater
the Valentine banquet at our Church,
sharing Valentine's day with my dear husband.

Oh how I would dearly love to visit the beautiful
country of Italy & see my husband's family that still
live there. One day we will ~ I am not giving up hope!
