A Change For The Better

As you can tell, I have been doing some home keeping on my blog. After my brief time away last week, I felt the leading to make some changes in all areas of my life. No I'm not talking about just a face lift or name change to my blog, but a more direct connection to Who this blog really belongs to...and that is my LORD and Savior. Yes, I love to cook and recipes are so much a part of my life, but lately I have given my blog too much focus on our natural food and not enough on our spiritual food needs. Maybe this is just for me, and if so, then that's ok too.

So along with my home keeping updates with cooking, cleaning, canning and such I am going to use my extra time to share some devotions that I the LORD is using to continually minister to me with. Not all will be my own writings of course, as the LORD uses each us to us to minister to one another. But as the Holy Spirit guides me, I will share what GOD has used to touch my life.

I also want to say to all of my dear followers and readers, that I appreciate you more than you know. Just knowing that you are giving up a few precious moments of your time to visit with me means the world. I realize how valuable a commodity our time is, so know that I do not take you offering a few minutes of yours to me each time you visit for granted.

How wonderful! God lead me in a similar direction about 2 years ago and I have been so blessed by sharing not only recipes but also things that God lays on my heart. There are so many ladies out there that need the spiritual uplifting that they can glean from bloggers such as yourself that are willing to share on His word. Can't wait for your future posts.

God Bless,
Michele

I love cooking too but spiritual food means more than anything I can put on the table. Churches are not what they used to be and even though many attend weekly services, they are starving to death. We need all the spiritual food we can get!!
