Homemaking Tip for this week:
When you are waiting for your tap water
to get hot, instead of just letting the cold water
run down the drain ~ take an empty milk jug and
catch the cold water to use for watering your plants.
Why waste it when you can use it!

Favorite Blog Post of the week (mine or other):

L
esson learned the past few days:

One thing I can't stand is gossip and it never fails that
some people in your path will always try to "puke"
on you with their gossip. No matter that you have said to
them that you don't want to hear it & you don't want to be exposed
such talk, they somehow feel the 'need' to try and tell you
all about it. If you make your firm stand against it, they
look at you like you're the one with the problem.

I Timothy 3:11 "Even so must their wives be grave, not slanderers, sober, faithful in all things."

I Peter 2:12 "Having your conversation honest among the Gentiles:
that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers,
they may by your good works, which they shall behold,
glorify God in the day of visitation."

I Peter 3:16 "Having a good conscience; that, whereas they speak
evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed that
falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ."

On my Prayer List:
Hubby, our marriage, our Church, our neighbor,
our Church & Pastors, our President, our County, our
children and our grandchildren (we know GOD will give us
children so I am believing and praying in advance for
our family,)

Devotionals, Scripture Reading, Key Verses:
Romans 5:20 ...But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:

Great little lesson there. I hate gossip too. And I have this dream where I have an instant hot water heater at my kitchen sink. But it is just a dream.

Good morning! I am right there with you in regards to the gossip, and I appreciate you attaching the bible verses as well! I also love your homemaking tip - I constantly am getting the water hot to run the dishwasher, laundry, etc. I need to keep a milk jug handy to be able to capture that for the pet water too- we need to water them about twice daily so I'd always have a jug on hand! Great tip!

Have a wonderful day in Jesus!

I love your homemakeing tip. I am crazy about not wasting water. Drives my husband, well, crazy! Agree on the gossip. How old do we have to be to realize there is no good in it?
