Happy Homemaker 4-6-09

(Hosted by Sandra)

On my bedside table:
my eyeglass case & my alarm clock

On my TV:
the Food Network

On the menu for tonight:
Something quick and easy

On my To Do List:
Morning exercise, light house keeping,
cleaning out the icebox, weeding the garden

New Recipe I tried last week:
Peanut Butter Cheese Fudge

In the craft basket:
Planning out & piecing together an idea
for a quilt

Looking forward to:
the Easter play performances, spending time
with a dear friend while we exercise together

Homemaking Tip for this week:
If you have ever had food bake on or burn to your casserole
dish you know how much elbow grease it takes to
clean it off. Instead of working overtime on it,
run some hot tap water into the pan and drop in
a fabric softener drier sheet. Let it soak for about
30 minutes to an hour (or longer depending on how
stuck on the food is.)
Remove sheet and wash as normal.
The softener easily loosens the stuck on food and
makes clean up a snap.

Favorite Blog Post of the week (mine or other):
Paper Crafting Wednesday
from Kelli at There's No Place Like Home

Favorite photo from last week:

Homemade Strawberry Jam

L
esson learned the past few days:

that time can be your best friend

On my Prayer List:
Hubby, our marriage, our Church, our neighbor,
our Church & Pastors, our President, our children
and our grandchildren (we know GOD will give us
children so I am believing and praying in advance for
our family)

Devotionals, Scripture Reading, Key Verses:
John 3:16 “For GOD so loved the world, that HE gave
HIS only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in HIM
should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
