Not All Text Messages Are Useless

I am not a fan of instant messaging via the internet or text messaging on your cell phone. The way I see it, if you have something you need to talk to me about or say, pick up the phone and call me directly. After all, if you have time to punch letters on a keypad, then you have time to punch numbers that will dial me directly. Same concept people! However, just now I received a text message on my cell phone telling me that my rebate check has been mailed to me. Ok, I can handle messages like that! So I guess there are some good things that can come from a text message. When it comes to telling me that I have money on the way, you can text me anytime! *grin*
