Taking A Short But Much Needed Break

This morning my blood pressure spiked drastically causing me to pass out while away from home. (I have never had BP issues before.) Thankfully I am ok now, but for the time being everything is going to have to fall by the wayside. Ever since Thanksgiving hubby & I have been doing our best to care for his ill mother. Unfortunately, we have not seen nor been offered one bit of help during this time from other family members. We have only had our Aunt lend a hand when & as she is able to do so, which we are grateful for.

Due to the surmounting stress involved it has taken a MAJOR toll on us physically, mentally, emotionally as well as on my health. I realize that growing up it might not have been the best or easiest of situations being raised by this woman and neither hubby nor I judge anyone on the past. But considering Hubby was abandoned by this woman at the age of 2 years old, he has put the past aside and chosen to treat her as a human being & is trying to do what is best for her out of respect. This just proves yet again what kind of man I married. He truly is a stand up person.

Therefore, due to the taxing toll that this has taken on us, but more importantly my health, I am going to put a hold on my blog for now. We are in dire need of rest, so please know that once I am feeling somewhat back to normal I will post my Love Dare updates. Yes, I plan to continue my "Love Dares" as my marriage is my main priority, next to my health.

I will miss you, my dear readers...but rest assured I will be back with you soon.

I do so hope you will feel better very soon and get the rest you need and deserve. You are so loving your dh with the way you treat his mother, and I'm so sorry it has taken such a toll on your life. Please rest, relax, and rebuild your strength, physically, spiritually, and emotionally.

Looking forward to your return...

You take your time and get better. This place can wait, though I know I will miss you. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Love you, dear sister.

Get lots of rest! Last year we had a very stressful time with building our new home and trying to sell a home at the same time. My blood pressure spiked also. The Dr. put me on medicine and it was horrible. Long story short life has settled and I am off all meds. I am drinking a lot of water and limiting my salt and I have normal BP again!
Sending a prayer your way!
