A Peaceful Place

I found a new thrift shop that I have fallen in love with. It's a ministry of a local Church where the store workers are all volunteer, the items are all donations and all proceeds except utilities of course go to local families/people in need. I have been several times now and have been so 'wowed' by the things I have seen. The store is set up like an actual home...as it is in an older home in the historic part of the town. The volunteers have really out done themselves in setting an inviting atmosphere. There have been very few times that I have visited and not bought something

Here are a few of the beauties I found that I couldn't pass up...

I thought these metal decorator items were too pretty to not to take home

I love the linens they had...mantel scarves, table doilies...

Beautiful quilts...

 Floral pieces....
My big item was this chair and ottoman....it's not only beautiful but it's the most comfortable reading chair I've had...
One thing is for sure, it doesn't have to cost a lot to make your home "A Peaceful Place."
