Surprise, Surprise, Surprise!

I went out to check the mail and lo and behold there was an unexpected package from in our mailbox. Oh how my heart skipped a beat when I saw the return address label was from Gooseberry Patch. In the midst of almost 100 degree temperatures, it suddenly felt like Christmas. I hurried into the house so I could open the package and see what treasure lay inside...

It was a copy of their newest cookbook, "Slow Cookers, Casseroles & Skillets." I completely forgot that I had a received a letter from GBP awhile back letting me know that I had another recipe published in one of their upcoming books and this was it. I have already thumbed through it and boy is it filled with lots of great recipes and tips. Not long back I received a copy of "Dinners on a Dime" and fell in love with it, but I think this new book is going to give it a run for it's money. Oh who am I kidding...I haven't found a GBP book yet that I didn't fall in love with.
