Homemade Fabric Refresher

Since we have cats and dogs in our home, I am always trying to keep things "fresh" smelling. I admit I really like the Febreeze brand fabric refresher but unless I have a really good coupon that can be doubled, I normally don't buy it. Instead, I make my own. It's super easy, quick and inexpensive. I just reuse my store bought container and refill it as needed.

Homemade Fabric Refresher
1/4 c. rubbing alcohol
1/4 c. white vinegar
2-1/2 c. water
reusable spray bottle (I use an empty 27 oz. febreeze spray bottle)

To your spray bottle add in alcohol and vinegar. Fill bottle with 2 1/2 c. water. You want your bottle to be almost full but still have some room from the top. Place top on bottle and secure tightly. Give mixture a good shake before each use, and use as you would store bought refresher.

Can't wait to try it. I have been buying the giant refill bottles at dollar general for $2 and just using those in my old spray bottle. This will be great in a pinch since we now have added a dog to the family and despite my efforts, you just can't win against that wet dog smell. lol :)
