Thanks Sandra for hosting this meme)

The weather in my neck of the woods:

Monday

73/49

Tuesday

76/54

Wednesday

73/59

Thursday

76/61
rain 10%

Friday

75/61
rain 20%

Things that make me happy:
Being married to my husband, the sound of my husband's voice, hot cocoa on a cold day, the smell of freshly cleaned linens

Book I'm reading:
Passionate Housewives Desperate For God, Bible (NIV), Taste of Home magazine

What I'm enjoying on TV:
Little Women animated series (on Smile of a Child network), MI-5, Grey's Anatomy, Jamie Oliver's Food Revolution

On the menu for dinner:
Freezer find...going to go through the meat freezer to see what I come up with

On my To Do List:
Clean house, steam the floors, laundry, re-inventory the freezer (but who knows how much will actually get done)

New Recipe I tried or want to try soon:
I found a wine called Sweet Pea that is a blend of apple and peach. The label stood out to me, so I thought it would be something that would be great for using in a chicken dish. Not sure what yet, but since I've had the bottle for over a month now, I figure one day soon I'll create a dish with it.

In the craft basket:
Need to reorganize my fabric and sewing supplies

Looking forward to this week:
Plenty of sunshine

Tips and Tricks:
Line a casserole dish with a sheet of aluminum foil. Pour in 1/2 - 1 c. warm water and salt. Place tarnished silverware inside dish and make sure they are completely submerged. The salt will begin to 'react' to the silver and within 5-10 minutes (depending upon the amount of tarnish) you should have clean, tarnish free silverware.

My favorite blog post this week:
Not really a blog post but I thought it was an interesting video

log Hopping (a new discovered blog you would like to share with the readers):

No words needed (favorite photo or picture, yours or others you want to share):

Lesson learned the past few days:
You can't get a different result by doing the same 'ol thing. So to get something you've never had, you have to do something you've never done.

On my mind:
Too much to write about to say the least

Devotionals, Scripture Reading, Key Verses:
I Peter 3: 8-12 "Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous: Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing; knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing. For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile: Let him eschew evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and ensue it. For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil."
