Priority Mail

As I 'm in the kitchen working on my last batch of pears, I hear the doorbell ring. Before I could wash my hands the visitor was pulling out of the driveway. It was our mail carrier. She had left a package on the stoop. I knew who it was from and was so excited to open it. I went back and finished up my pears and put them in the canner to start processing. Then it was on to the box! Upon opening the box, I was in awe of what I found inside. I knew it would contain fabric but I had no idea how much, how pretty and wow the extra goodies that were inside...I was overjoyed with excitement. It truly felt like Christmas morning as I went through it all. Thank you so much T.S. for sending such a grand fabric box, you certainly out did yourself.

There were so many neat fabrics inside. She also tucked in some patterns that are awesome. A few sewing notions, quarter flats and fat quarters. Is that not cool or what!?! Again, thank you T. S. for this wonderful package.

What a blessing!! I think you were probably about as excited as I was over the cross stitching goodies I got a while back ;) Thank you very much for my birthday well-wishes! I was blessed just by the fact that you remembered me :) Have a great day and looking forward to seeing your sewing projects!!

What treasures!!!

In answering your question, I hand quilted the spiderman quilt, but mostly I machine quilt because its so much faster and sturdier. I'm still learning though. There is a great blog called Crazy Mom Quilts (at blogspot) that has so much information that you might enjoy and learn from too.
