The LORD Forever Amazes Me

You might recall that I mentioned my HP laptop had piddled out on me and that we were blessed with a brand new Toshiba laptop. The new laptop has been running wonderfully and we have gotten some great use out of it. I am so thankful for it. Well, as things would have it, the monitor on the desktop computer that Hubby uses went out on us the other day. *sigh* Although it was a disappointment, there is no use in getting upset about it. After all, we got our money's worth out it to say the least.

So tonight Hubby decides to peruse eBay for monitors. There were a few items that he is going to watch but nothing that really jumped out to him. Then, for some strange reason (we know now it was the prompting of the Holy Ghost) we decided to get out the HP laptop and see what would happen if we plugged it in and tried turning it on. Before it was a dead deal. The battery had life to it but the computer itself was a dead deal.

I had everything ready, plugged in and waiting for the moment of truth. "Click"...there goes the power button. Let's see what happens....after a few moments it came right up, I was able to log on to the Internet and viola! My baby is back up and running.

My baby is back! Oh how I have missed her. The feel of her keyboard, the sound of her "pinging" to tell me I have made an error. Praise GOD for restoration in our computer! Hubby, who is normally not a laptop fan, has been getting pretty used to using them now, excitedly said "Great, now I'll have my own laptop!" Yes, he is going to start using the Toshiba laptop while we save for a new desktop monitor. Every time I turn around, GOD is always providing for HIS children.

So true. Gosh, if I had to go and try to explain how God has provided for us in the past few years - in very big ways and in small ones too - I'd have to start a whole new blog for it!!

:) Great post...and I'm always glad to see folks give the Lord credit for what HE has surely done. And by the way, I'm very tender towards my pink laptop as much as you love yours. :) She's my friend. LOL!

How wonderful. I have found that to be true over the years. When every something came up and it looked like we were going to have to buy or get something we really needed and couldn't afford, some how, some way God sent us what we needed. I would get a little unexpected overtime or a item I painted would sale...little things but I always knew God's hand was in it.
I'm so happy for you. God is good.

That's so awesome! I can't tell you how many times that has happened to us with computers, printers, various appliances, etc. The Lord truly provides, even when it seems to us that there is no provision! Praising the Lord with you!
