What goes better with homemade bread??? You guessed it...homemade butter.
I tweaked my bread a little from my original recipe. Instead of having plain white bread, I mixed in some spicy Italian seasonings during the first part of the recipe. Once I had a soft dough and turn it out onto my floured bread board to knead, you could see all the pieces of seasonings being mixed through out the bread. While it was baking, Hubby remarked at how good it smelled. he said it reminded him of the aroma of pizza.
