Love Dare - Day 9

I
Peter 5:14 "Greet one another with a kiss of love."

Chapter highlights...

You can tell a lot about the state of a couple's relationship by the way they greet one another. You can see it in their countenance and expression, as well as how they speak to each other. It is even more obvious by their physical contact.

When someone communicates that they are glad to see you, your personal sense of self-worth increases. You feel more important and valued. A good greeting sets the stage for positive and healthy interaction.

Today's dare: Think of a specific way you'd like to greet your spouse today. Do it with a smile and enthusiasm. Then determine to change your greeting to reflect your love for them.

Once again this was an easy dare. Hubby & I always greet each other when one of us comes home from an outing and each morning we always make sure to exchange a warm greeting before the day begins. So changing this up a bit wasn't too hard. In fact, the smile on his face was proof that he liked his welcoming tonight. It's such a great feeling to know that the smile on this handsome man's face is meant only for me. Love in action ~ these are the greatest things in life.

I bet he did enjoy his greeting! You know, it's such a great feeling to know one feels safe and secure enough with your spouse to be able to do such as that without wondering if you'll be laughed at or rejected. Marriage is such a safety in every way.
