Garden Planning Phase 5

The day was so beautiful that I spent the entire morning outdoor. The light breeze was so comforting while I was tending to the garden. I finished making the final mounds and rows and planted the remaining vegetables. Oh what a great feeling it was to stand back and look at our handy work (ok, hubby did the big, hard work - but we worked on it together.)

Here's a run down of what ended up planting...bell peppers, sage, cilantro, red onion, jalapeno peppers, heirloom tomatoes, basil, rosemary, tomatoes, butter crunch lettuce, red tip lettuce, oregano, stevia, zucchini, strawberries, pink purple hull peas, yellow onions, cucumbers, yellow crookneck squash, yellow straight neck squash and sweet corn.

I ended up planting my dill in 3 large pots as the garden was full. Not too bad a problem to have, huh!?!

Before planting as well as after planting I prayed over our garden and our fruit trees, so I am believing for and looking for a bumper crop of everything. My desire for this garden is that we have plenty to eat from, plenty for canning and plenty for giving away.

Mark 11:24 "Therefore I say unto you, What things so ever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. "

Beautiful! Oh, the smell of fresh turned dirt, tomato plants, God is so good to give such variety.

May he bless you with plenty of bounty.

What a beautiful garden... You must live in a warmer climate than mine.

Small flakes of snow are just beginning to touch the ground this afternoon. Your garden make my palms itch... want to get out and turn the soil... and get a few things planted too.

Thanks for sharing.

Wow, that's awesome! I'm intimidated by anything green, but I'm determined to have a garden "some day!" Yours is really lovely.
